It was a warm September 30th, 2005 and we were invited to visit the Billings Airport Operations Center to take a tour of the Rescue Fire Fighting unit. Of course, we took all sorts of photos. Thanks Brownie. We'll get the specs for the above truck soon. For now, it's a Pierce E-One that has all sorts of wonderful features. |

We're standing on the upper deck of ARFF No. 3 to take this photo of units 1 & 2. Billings is a Class C airport and as such is required to have two ARFF trucks. We look forward to returning and getting more photos of equipment that you just don't see every day. Before we forget, they also have a fabulous fleet of snow-removal equipment. That's going to make for another great section. |
