Attack 1320 - Mercedes Unimog U1300L, Type 5 Wildland Engine

This former NATO troop carrier has been outfitted as a Type 5 attack truck. It has a 610 gallon steel, baffled water tank and a Darley 23HP pump that will develop 265 PSI. It also has the former machine gun turret which is ideal for pump and roll operations.

Bed:
Mercedes, ¾” marine-grade plywood, 7 foot wide by 10 long.

Pump:
Darley 1-1/2 AGE23V, 23HP Briggs & Straton Vanguard Portable, mounted to the the bed. 2" suction, (2) 1 1/2" discharge with 1 1/2" Elkhart gated wye. Has illuminated gauge panel with switches for bed LED lighting, engine on/off. Also, controls for throttle, exhuast primer. Low oil preasure light.

Water Tank:
610 gallon steel, potable water tank.

Mini Monitor:
Elkhart Sidewinder, with 30 GPM nozzle and joystick control within the cab.

Hose & Nozzle Inventory:
All 1 inch and 1 1/2 inch hoses are North American's HIT-600 yellow, nitrile-covered, cpld aluminum, EX-NHT. This is a rugged, ribbed, 600pis rated hose. 1 - 10/24 TFT nozzle with pistol-grip.

1 - Hanney hose reel with 140' of 3/4" Guerilla hose equipped with a 10/24 GPM TFT, pistol-grip nozzle.

1 - Duro hose reel with 150' of 3/4" mop-up hose.

6 - 100' lengths of 1 1/2"

Extinguishers:
1 - Amerex 423 ABC dry chemical extinguisher, 20lb, both mounted to headboard.

24 volt to 12 volt:
Sure-Power 80 amp converter/equalizer, mounted to underside of passenger seat. Master disconnect switches for: Ground, 12 Volts, and 24 Volts.

Onboard Battery Chargers:
12 & 24 volt Deltran battery chargers, with passenger side, shore-power receptacle.

Portable Lighting:
1 - Streamlight LITEBOX, with 1,400 candlepower, 20 watt flood and onboard charger, hardwired.
1 - Streamlight FIRE VULCAN, with 65,000 candlepower, 8 watt spot and
onboard charger.
1 - Streamlight 3C LED

12 Volt Accessory Sockets:
2 - 6 amp accessory sockets.

Communications:
2 - Kenwood TK-290 VHF, 5 watt portables, 160 channel, with speaker
microphones, chargers and metal-hydride batteries. These two portables include chest harnesses.

Weather Instrumentation:
Kestral 4000 Pocket Weather Tracker. Full-featured, with temperature, humidity, heat index, windspeed, windchill, and more.

Compass:
1 – Suunto M2, map style compass.

 

General Notes:

The Unimog, U1300L chassis is a former NATO military truck, with approximately 68,000 KM or 45,000 miles on the odometer. The truck has been weighed by the Montana Department of Transportation and weighs in at 18,100lbs. Documentation is on file. It is currently registered and titled in the State of Montana.

The truck is fully operational and the purchase price includes a one day demonstration session which will incorporate all aspects of apparatus operation, in Lavina, Montana. Various truck and eqiupment manuals are included.

To some extent, unnecessary, onboard equipment can easily be removed to suit the buyer's needs.

Purchase will be by wired funds or certified bank check on a where is and as is basis. We will gladly arrange transport via a local, trucking company that has experience shipping these trucks nationally for us.
